NewSaint represents the collected, personal projects of HBM; husband, father, tinkerer, and amateur computer archaeologist.

I started Forever Disks in 2026 as a wiki-style website that aims to catalog and record information relating to a variety of different computer storage devices, many of which have been almost lost to time. At present, FD is presented as a website and Telegram channel.

NewSaint is a continuation of a series of earlier micro-blogging and social media adventures. There's no direct goal for NewSaint, it is merely the primary medium for me to share my thoughts with casual internet browsers. You can read more about the history of this site on the About page. NS currently exists as a website (you're on it!) and a Telegram channel.

I enjoy putting the odd pen to paper (or fingertip to keyboard as it were) from time to time. This usually ends up in a new essay or rant appearing on this site or—more likely—as a post on one of my Telegram channels.
